Holy Synchronicity, Batman!

According to the "authorities" (if you believe them), Synchronicity is the experience of two or more events which are causally unrelated occurring together in a meaningful manner. On Saturday, I picked up "Ultimate Spider-Man: Volume 9" hardcover by Bendis. It's a monster-sized 400-page book collecting the final arc drawn by Mark Bagley. At the same time, some holy hindus decided to honour their new deity - Spider-Ganesha! Go figure...

Spotlight: Secret Invasion #2 (Bendis/Yu)

This is my favourite scene in the new "Secret Invasion #2". It captures everything that Tony Stark is. Stuck. Trapped in a corner. Skrulls about to take over the entire world. Everyone is confused - not knowing who to trust. Tony Stark is a builder, first and foremost. He builds solutions to problems. He harkens back to the time when he was captured by the Red Guards of Wong Chu in Vietnam. He had to build an armour then to defeat his captors. Same thing here.

"I built my first armor from a lot less than this - I'm going to do the one thing Skrulls can't imitate. Use my brain."

Everything you need to know about Tony Stark in one line of dialogue.
